I have two Kenmore Refrigerators that need help. The one in the garage is not cooling, or freezing...but is is blowing out air. The one in the house, the water dispenser slowly has stopped. I replaced the filter and the water is dispensing again, but VERY slowly. Any suggestions? Is there a Fee for just coming out to look at both refrigerators?

My Kenmore, electric dryer, purchased in about 2005, does not heat. We have checked the outlets, the fuses, and the lint traps and still nothing. I have two teenage athletes in my house and need my dryer to work.

Before attempting any dishwasher repairs, make sure that you disconnect the appliance from the power source. Also, take care to avoid injury from the sharp edges of the appliance. If your dishwasher refuses to work, make sure that it is receiving power from a power supply. Look for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. The cause could also be a defective door switch. This will have to be replaced. There could also be a problem with the wires, not just the main wiring, but also the wiring to the timer, and the door switch. A faulty timer may also cause the machine to not work at all. Timers will have to be replaced if they are defective.
If your dishwasher fails to turn on, first check if the machine is receiving power. This can be hard because these appliances tend to be wired into an electrical circuit, and not plugged into a wall. However, you can look for a blown fuse that's disrupted power supply to the machine. A defective door switch can also prevent the dishwasher from turning on. You may have to remove the interior liner of the door, and the control panel covers to locate the door switch. If defective, replace it. Also, make sure that there has been no burning or breaking of the wiring. Check not only the main wiring, but also the wiring connected to the liner, the door switch as well as the wiring located between the lower half of the machine and the door. If you have electric repair skills, you can repair burned or broken wires, using connectors and appliance grade wires.
Sometimes you don't need dishwasher repairs to keep your machine working perfectly. For instance, use only hot water in your dishwasher to get the rest results. To make sure that the water is as hot as possible, let it run for about half a minute before you switch on the dishwasher. For better results, place the setting on a higher temperature. The water should be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit for cleaning, but preferably not more. Keep your dishwasher running smoothly, and avoid dishwasher repair problems by cleaning the dishwasher regularly. Remove rust stains that can be caused by iron in the water. If you find corrosion on the dish racks or if the plastic coating begins to wears off, buy a repair kit to patch these. Make sure that your dishwasher is either directly wired or plugged into a grounded source. Use only hot water for the machine, and make sure that you use only dishwasher specific detergents.
